2011 G37 Sedan P0075 Code - Intake Valve Control Circuit (Bank 1)
I just changed my valve cover gasket about a week ago, after I changed the gasket I took my car for a test drive. As I hit 3500rpms my car went into limp mode. I took it back home and used a code reader. I got the code P0075, I looked up the code online and the only thing I found was a vvt solenoid bank 1. I just ordered the part today and plan on installing it but I’m not sure exactly where the solenoid is, as there are no videos or anything I can find on it. Any help would be appreciated. I also already tried resetting the ecu still has the same issue.

Not sure why yours won’t turn over at all. Mine was starting and driving it was just in limp mode. I went to replace the valve control solenoid on the front of the engine underneath the coolant tank, only to find out the clip was loose and not all the way clicked in. It must have came loose when I was changing the gaskets. After I ensured it was fully clipped in, the car ran with no more problems. If you’re getting that code it’s most likely the same issue, being that the valve control solenoid needs replaced. But the solenoid are supposed to last for the entire life span of the car so it would be pretty rare for it to be bad. I would just go back and double check make sure everything is hooked up and secure. If that doesn’t work maybe see about replacing one of the valve control solenoids. But even with a bad valve control solenoid it should still be able to start.
