Wiring diagram for the Steering Wheel
Hey all,
I'm looking for wiring diagrams for 2011 G37S sedan steering wheel connectors and for the 2015 Q50 steering wheel connectors. Trying to swap over to it but I heard that a couple buttons get swapped so I figured I'd repin the connector to get it work properly but am struggling finding out where the correct diagram is in the FSM on nico club.
Any help would be appreciated if you know which "category" and page they're on for each!!

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
If your DONOR Q50 wheel has the 8-pin, gray (M303) connector then it should be a direct plug-and-play affair, If it has the white, 12-pin (M302- usually on Technology and Red Sport packages) then you will have a lot of de-pinning / extra work to do. I would find a wheel that has the 8-pin and call it a day. I wanted the Red Sport wheel so I had no choice.
As for the buttons, the only button that does not work as intended on the Q50/60 wheel is the "BACK" button. This button operates as the "SOURCE" button on the G37. Aside from that all the other buttons work fine except the two "MENU" buttons which do nothing when pressed. There is a difference in resistor value that can not changed without extensive work to the switch itself.
That said, everything you need is on NicoClub. You will need all of the following sections as there is no one page that has the complete pinout for the switch(es): AV, INL, and PG. You should not have any reason to touch the SRS airbag wires.

re: button functionality, I did not delve into it further. For my needs the "mismatch" doesn't bother me. In the 10+ years I've owned this car I've never once used the NAV.
re: airbag. Good luck. Deals for those are rare given the current practice of "fleecing the customer."
You'll get there in due time.
