No Crank No Start

hey guys i have a 2012 infiniti g37x. yesterday after installing the grom vline2 unit, my car is completely dead. with a jumper pack the instrument cluster lights up and the radio works but the touch screen does not. i am able to use some radio control thru the steering wheel but that is about it. has anyone run into any issues or something similar when installing the unit or anything in general? any help would be appreciated. thanks

Did you double check your connections? Did you ensure that each connector is plugged into its proper location?

As has been discussed, ad nauseam,on this forum, it is very easy to mixup connectors for the AV headunit and the AC amplifier that is mounted to the AV headunit. If your car is "bricked," more often than not the amp is not connected properly.

There are plenty of threads about the amp. However, the following will point you in the right direction:

Post #1 shows what to look for and
Post #2 shows what two connectors SHOULD BE plugged into the amp.

And the car still won't crank?
Did you try removing the VLine and go back to stock to see if the car returns to normal?

I have to ask, did you do all of this with the battery disconnected?

Did you check all of the fuses?

And you checked ALL of the fuses? Driver-side junction, positive battery link, and IPDM/er?

If you can, snap a pic of the amp for me. And make sure everything back there is fully seated and locked into place. If all checks out then I am out of ideas.... If all you worked on was the center stack with this GROM thing, then the issue has to be there or power related. Perhaps someone else will have some suggestions...

Good luck!
