Do I need a new BCM?
Hey so water recently leaked through where the wiring harness crosses through to get to the engine bay and now my ECUTEK scanner is showing me multiple codes for my BMC, does this mean I should replace it?

Ok, well, two potential issues. One, many of those codes are for the infamous steering lock module failure. So, there is that to contend with.
HOWEVER, the U1000 code takes precedence over everything. That is the primary code and has to be addressed before anything else can be tackled. Basically, this code means that the BCM has lost communication with the cars network.
More than likely you will need to have the BCM replaced.
Is everything is clean and dry?
