Bumper Difference
Question. Will a sedan "non sport" front bumper cover work on my sport sedan? There's a huge difference in price and availability. I can see a cosmetic difference on the lower portion, but is there any mounting difference as far as hole locations and placement?
Thanks in advance

Awesome!!! Thanks for the info. Will save a ton of money then. Really don't want to fork out $700+ for a sport one, when I can get the non-sport for half the price.

I've been searching till my eyes bleed. Sport Sedan front bumper covers are hard to find. There's basically no aftermarket ones available, and all the Infiniti units, are outrageous as you would expect. I did find some used ones on Ebay, but I'm not paying $500+ shipping for a front bumper that needs almost as much work as mine does.
Maybe I'm not using the right search criteria, but I'm coming up empty handed.

Yeah, not surprising. Those bumpers are out of production and there are no aftermarket ones. The only aftermarket ones are for the base bumper. I went through all this when I was looking for one. I finally got mine local on FB marketplace for $150.
Base bumper is kinda ugly but it would be much cheaper for sure.

Believe me, my poor car won't win any beauty contests. It has almost 200,000 miles, and has seen a lot of road time, and not much TLC, but that's why I love it. I can just drive the crap out of it, and it just keeps going.
I did just get finished changing out the timing chain and gears, along with the water pump. My wife was driving the car when it just died on her in a parking lot. I thought the chain or one of the guides broke. Turned out the AC compressor locked up, and actually kept the engine from turning over. Either internal failure, or the clutch gave up, because I couldn't spin it by hand. It actually kept the car from turning over, which is why I thought it was the timing set. Since I had to yank half the car apart to get to the compressor, I figured might as well do the timing set, and water pump. Good thing I did, because I saw the dreaded oil gallery gasket issue that these cars have.
Sorry about the rambling

That was some low pricing. That particular cover was for a 2010+ but even the one I needed was $350+ $26 to ship, which seems extremely cheap. I found one on ebay last night and bought it. New one $350 shipped to my door, so I'm ok with that.
Thanks for looking out!!!!

The cheapest way to find this bumper is brand new from the dealer I kid you not. I bought mine for $370 picked up.
The catch is the lip. Brand new = forget it, Aftermarket = good luck
