I was swapping out intake hoses today & in the process this piece broke. I've googled endlessly & can't find a description for it, does anyone know what it is, and more importantly do I need it or can I replace it w/ another hose & coupling? It runs to the driver intake tube just above the MAF.

Thank you, just went through that thread & I'm gonna go w/ an elbow coupling to secure the hose back to the intake tube.
