If you sell it to a used car company, or trade it in... then yes, a modified car is a hot potato. But as long as the modifications aren't ricey, I think they have value selling your G here on the forum.

At least, that's the long term plan that gives me some comfort, accurate or otherwise.

I posted something similar to this in another thread recently... can't remember which one. But I was talking with my wife about how much money I would let my car go for if the opportunity presented itself.

It's a 2012 G37S sedan 6MT. I bought it from Jsolo, back in June or July 2020 (EDIT: 2019) and it had something like 36,000 miles IIRC at the time and he was the only owner of the vehicle. He ordered it brand new from Infiniti. Right now it has around 45,800 miles and absolutely zero issues, only a few rock chips here and there. The back seat has been sat in only a handful of times, ever. Always garaged and rarely driven in rain, never in snow (and only rarely when Jsolo owned it, I believe). Very meticulously maintained vehicle.

The mods I can think of:

Exterior:
25% tint
Some black vinyl wrap on window chrome (the flat portion)

Interior:
RJM Pedal

Wheels / Suspension:
18x8.5 and 18x9.5 Superspeed RF03RR with Pilot Sport A/S3+ tires (wheels weigh 18 pounds each)
370Z Nismo red springs
Eibach front and rear sways
NEW Z1 2 piece rotors front and rear
NEW Centric Posi Quiet pads

Engine:
2.75" CAI with custom velocity stacks by Rabbit Hole Motorsports
Ported throttle bodies
Ported upper intake manifold
Ported lower intake manifold
GTR 550cc injectors
AAM Resonated high flow cats
Fast Intentions 2.5" CBE with 18" resonators
8lb Antigravity ATX-30 battery
Ecutek tuned by Eugene at Enthusiast Auto Care

I think that's everything? I'm curious what you all think it's worth before I say what I would let it go for I paid $19,000 for it.

Market being at its hottest, I'd say $22k-$25k

can't believe you've only put 9k miles on it in 3 years

For a private sale, you can probably get out of it what you paid 3 years ago. More even, for a motivated buyer who appreciates what you've done with it.

When I was looking for a Q. The dealer Really wanted me to trade in my G for a model I test drove. I of course declined and I am sure it would of been a goofy offer. Can only imagine what they turn around and ask for it, probably something stupid haha.

I seen IPL's floating around over the years and even with high miles, they commend a higher price tag than other G's. Certainly dope cars, too bad they are such moon rocks.
