2009 G37 Sport VVEL Relay
I have been viewing the forum for years and appreciate all the expertise available here.
My 2009 G37 Sedan Sport - 6MT has posted the P1092 code twice in the last 6 months which immediately activated the ‘Limp’ mode. The first event was in extremely cold temperature and the last was in hot weather. Both times - I cleared the code / reseated the VVEL relay / operation returned to normal. The low-cost fix ‘may’ be a new relay but I am having a hard time finding one. It is a 50A relay with only two pins (female). My local Infiniti dealer was not able to find one using the VIN. Next thought was that perhaps a Nissan 370Z might have a comparable relay.
Thoughts / suggestions?
Thank you.

To clarify, the images you posted are for the VVEL FUSIBLE LINK aka "fuse." That is NOT a relay. They are two entirely different electronic components:
The VVEL RELAY is located on the passenger side fender area:
Fuses have 2 prongs...
Relays have 4 or more prongs..
Also, P1092 refers to Bank 2 (driver) control shaft position sensor which is inline with what Noogie mentioned above. I don't think the VVEL fuse or relay is your issue...

P1098 is for the VVEL Control Shaft Position Sensor. You stated that you replaced it, but did you adjust the sensor to make sure it is aligned correctly? This sensor is not a plug-and-play unit, it must be calibrated to a VERY small specification (500 ± 48 mV).
