driver side key cover

"Keyhole Escutcheon"
Driver: (p/n: 80646-xxxxx) has hole for key:
Passenger: (p/n: 82646-xxxxx) solid cap:
The right (passenger) side door handle does NOT have a lock cylinder which is why a solid cap was used instead of a "key hole" cap.
Technically, the right side (solid) cover will fit the left (keyhole) side. Many (myself included) have ordered the right side cap to replace/ "delete" the left key hole- makes for a cleaner line, IMO at least.
You can order whichever one you want- subject to availability in your paint code or search for used on eBay.

If you do the keyhole "delete" and, in the (unlikely) event that your fob battery completely dies and you find yourself "locked out," you would have to pop off the cover and use your mechanical key.
If this seems too daunting, or you are routinely in the habit of using the mechanical key, then I would suggest you just get the regular cap with the key hole and call it a day.
