Figured no harm in having one of these threads every few years (last one looks like it’s from 2017).
Was still on my original set of wipers, rubber blades were peeling and the arms were getting faded.
At first, tried to get some OEM refills (to replace just the rubber part), but since the dealership can’t get them and I’ve had two orders for them cancelled, apparently they’re discontinued. Another member on the forum found the generic “mitsuba” part number for the refills, but the actual shape of the refill changes year to year for our cars, and didn’t feel like experimenting.
So went the aftermarket route. Selection at local auto parts stores was Ok, but even the expensive ones looked clunky and since they’re visible when driving, that’d bug me.
Finally found a set that looked good online, PIAA Aero Vogue. Feel nice and sturdy, mounted fine, seem to work fine (they come with wipes to coat the windshield, but I already apply rainX every month or so). And they look even better than the OEM arms. Probably on the pricey side at $50 shipped for the pair, but they should last me a while.
Anyone else have recommendations for the G community?
If you review the older threads, there's part numbers (and link?) to some honda inserts that fit the OE arms. That's what I did last time. Worked out well.
In general, I find that the silicone wipers wear slower but most of the performance comes from surface prep.
I like the Piaa Aero Vogues; you can just buy refills for them every few months.
For auto part store options, I like the Trico NeoForm (most OEM looking) and Trico Onyx (Low-profile, beam style). It just feels less waste to change refills than blades.
In SoCal, the factory blades last 3 years... the Costco Michelin wiper replacements only last a year or two and don't work as well or look as good (the factory blades are mounted on the side for a low profile).Since Infiniti quit selling the blade refills, I bought the equivalent Honda Blade Refills today from my friendly Orange County Honda Dealer... in stock... no problem. $15 for the pair. Has "Mitsuba" molded into the blade, just like the Infiniti ones.

I believe the coupe P/Ns will be different, at least on the passenger side. These have the 1cm wide base and fit perfectly in the factory wiper blade frames.
Bosch Icon 16A (Passenger Side) & Bosch ICON 26A (Drivers Side) .....Have them on every vehicle I own and in my opinion the best Wiper Blade available .
200% agree with Kevon1. Bosch Icon are the overall best for the money. Those things last more than anything I've tried up to a $50 price point. It's an all rubber all-season blade like oem. It does have a box connector on it, but that's the weather proofed dual lock mechanism. I have zero complaints, and guessing a few years on the same blades with minimal maintenance. From cold salty winters, through the hottest summer days sitting in direct sunlight daily, they have held up better than any other wipers I tried in the same conditions.
On amazon for $40 for the pair shipped. Yes they sell a 26A/16A wiper combo. Says doesn't fit a G sedan, but I have them on now, they DO fit. I personally have always bought them from autozone locally, so I know they are fresher rubber.
The Honda part numbers in the comment a few posts up don't yield many pics using google search. Would've been nice for op to upload a pic of the Honda blades installed on his car. Hopefully they're side mounted. I might try them one day for that price and the oem fit.
I buy the OEM wiper blade assembly from the dealership. They have a 12mo warranty and reliably fail before a year is up, so it's pretty much free wipers for life if you keep the receipt.
Also, the factory wiper blade uses an offset mount. I find most aftermarket wipers don't and as a result they miss about an inch of the windshield which bothers me

I just received mine, and I can confirm that the Honda parts are identical to the Nissan OEM.
The Honda refills fit most 8th gen Honda Civics and as we are seeing G's. However its 50/50 if you got your car used if you have the Refill arms on your G. Mine did not.
However on this discussion. I have found the cheap Michelin Blades pretty good on the G especially for the price. But as far as the best. I like the Bosch Icon which they stopped making but you can find on Ebay etc for around 40 a set. The Bosch's also seem to have lasted through seb zero winter months as well as +100 Degree days without any cracking etc...

Yup, there are two different styles of OEM wiper blades: the type that is refillable, and the "Service Advantage" part that is not refillable. I bought my car CPO and it came with the latter. Once they wore out, I bought a set of the refillable type.

Think the Honda blades are just refills (which just replace the rubber portion of the OEM wiper), so they probably don’t look any different from the OEM ones installed.
