Recommended TPMS
I am in process of refinishing some OEM 19" coupe wheels for my car and I would like to keep my stock wheels as spares. What TPMS sensors are recommended for a 2013 G37?
Can I have 2 sets of wheels programmed to the car?

I'll give a thumbs up to the brand that Tire Rack sells for my 2013 G37x. The sensors that came with my winter tire/wheel set lasted around 6 years before the batteries started to fail. They still work (now 8 years later!) but will die after around 50 miles.
You will need a TPMS trigger and reprogramming tool to swap wheels. Back in the day the ATEQ Quickset and VT301 trigger tool were the only decent consumer grade offerings but there are better options now. I'd look for a modern device that can trigger and reprogram the sensors. The problem with the ATEQ Quickset was that it could not trigger your sensors, meaning you didn't know which sensor was on which wheel/corner so you would be forced to buy the trigger tool to figure things out. Further, the Quickset is limited to four cars total for the lifetime of the device, so if you are a person that switches cars frequently you end up having to ditch the unit after just a few years.

Another option is to use an aftermarket TPMS that can be programmed to use the existing TPMS IDs.
Then when you switch tires, everything still matches and no dash lights
Any good tire shop will be able to do this for you.
