G37 Coupe Sport Seats in G37 Sedan
#16
Help !!!
Hello all! I recently embarked on finding a set of G37 Sport coupe seats to install in my 6MT Sport sedan. I have a friend with a Coupe sport and the seats are sooo much more comfortable than the sedan. I found an awesome deal from an older man parting out his wife's wrecked coupe and got the set for $300. Just wanted to let everyone here know that they 100% fit and work in the sedan. The drivers seat bolts and plugs right into the wiring harness in the floor. The passenger seat however has to have the internal wiring harness replaced with the harness out of a regular sedan passenger seat. It WILL NOT plug directly into the car the way it is wired. It's about an hours work and not that labor intensive. I highly HIGHLY recommend this mod if you happen to come across Coupe Sport seats. They sit alot lower, have better bolsters, and are made of better materials than the Sedans seats. I recently sat in a sedan and it felt like I was sitting in a truck. Anyways, if you have any questions let me know!

You may need to be more specific. Seats from what year and model into what year and model? You can find all the wiring info in the Factory Service Manuals up here:
https://www.nicoclub.com/infiniti-service-manuals
Click G35/G37/Q40
Click G35 or G37
Click on the model
Click on the year
then look for "Seat"
Clicking that will open a page with the pdf displayed in a window. Scroll down below that "viewing window" and you can "Click here to download a copy".
Do this for your car and for the car that your donor seats came from and you should be able to spot any differences in the wiring. Be aware that when seat heaters went from a single switch to a control **** the system changed quite a bit and a "control unit" kind of black box was added. But the physical drive motors should be similar over the years.
