Just installed the RJM clutch pedal
First thread after buying my 6MT sedan. I will go start an introductory thread right after this.
Took me 3 hours. Most of the time was spent under the dash cursing the lack of space to get a wrench or anything in there to do any adjustment. I thought I was mechanically inclined but I did it in double the time RJM said it would take...
Clutch feels really good now. Very progressive take up and much easier to drive the car slowly and smoothly.
I mainly did it as a reliability mod. I bought the car only a few weeks ago and saw in carfax the CSC was replaced about 12k miles ago. So, I figured, there's still a chance that doing the RJM will prolong the life of the CSC significantly.

^ reading this reminds me (and my back) of the ~3hrs i spent installing my RJM pedal. worthwhile once done, but a mother tucker to install. at least for this guy. removing the driver seat helps i heard, but i didn't want to do that.
pretty sure i didn't stand up straight for a week afterwards.

lol... I realized after the fact why it was so hard to make the adjustments -- It was because I had to move the driver's seat forward to start the car and test the clutch engagement point, then I forgot the move the freaking seat back to climb down into the footwell again.. I felt like my head was being pressed into the carpet, lol.. It's done now, maybe lesson learned for when I need to adjust it again.
