IPL Bumper on a Sedan?
Hello, bought a '12 G37xS a few weeks ago, love it so far! Went from a 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander that wanted to die so how could I not .
I have been looking at the IPL bumpers, and was wondering if they would be able to go on a sedan, all the pictures I've seen are on coupes. I apologize if this has been asked before!
Second question, with the X models, the sport package isn't the same as the sport package on a non X, correct? If so, what are the differences?
Thanks!

Won't fit/work. No IPL versions for Sedan. Look into Sport Sedans with the sport lip and splitter, think you'll like that look. Sport package is different for Manual vs Auto really. All AWD (X models) are automatics. For the AWD it's a cosmetic upgrade but for the standard transmission models you get a big brake kit, tighter steering, and some other goodies but those are the two big ones.
You can always fit Akebonos to your AWD or Brad(blnewt) has a write up for doing your own build I believe. I'm sure he'll pop in to meet and great you at some point so he can shine a little more light on it.
Personally, the biggest thing you want to do is upgrade the rear sway bar of the AWD Sedan. Reduces all that body roll and top heaviness. Car feels a bit more nimble when cornering.

Hey froi, welcome. I've looked into this option myself and the brackets and fenders wont allow such things for our models. I have the same car as you do. It's a great automobile. I honestly love every second of her.
For starters as iCrap mentioned. Upgrading you suspensions components will greatly increase the stiffness and overall control of the car at highers speeds (somewhere in mexico i was able to test top speed and cornering). I have mine tuned so it tends to wiggle its tail sometimes like a cat ready to pounce on its pray.
Coming from the outlander you will enjoy this car a lot. There are plenty of members here who can help guide for performance, fitment, even a lot of good DYI lite mods.

I like the look, but if you don't already have it consider buying the stock (optional) sport front lip, gives the car a more mean face, same direction as ipl bumper but slightly different. Also in terms of suspension, as mentioned above, sways is best bang for buck improvement, along with better tires.

Those sedans with the coupe IPL front ends make my eyes confused lol
I agree, just spruce up the normal front end on the sedan. They can look pretty mean if you do it right.
