There is a flap inside the spout into the tank that is supposed to stay open while gas is going over it. It seems not to work right for a lot of people (me included).
I usually just take the gas nozzle out a bit and pump slowly until the weight of the flow keeps it open and then go for it. Takes a few tries to get it right.

could also be the evap control valve that is connected to the hose icrap mentioned. i highly doubt the hose is the issue tho. u can disconnect it and look at it urself if its clogged. and if it is theoretically could just clean it urself. it just looks like an intake hose. my control valve went bad and i couldnt fill gas till i replaced it. but the check engine told me it was bad.

Hello
I had the same issue on my G. I never had a fix for it but I would probably have to try and pump gas at least 10x to actually fill up my tank due to it constantly stopping. I tried adjusting how far I inserted the gas muzzle and different angles but no luck. I initially thought it was the gas station I was using.

I don’t even remember since it’s been awhile but I got used to it. It added an extra 10 minutes at the pump though. I think it happened all of a sudden and never went away.

I had this issue because I drove on E for a while and basically my purge valve broke and evap box was clogged. It took me 20 mins to fill up for about 4 months untill I could take it anymore.
Heres how you fix this prob:
Buy a new Evap box on ebay with the purge valve included. I got mine for $40 <---- complete steal. Replace it and ur good to go
OR
I believe infiniti warrantied this so they can do it for free if u meet the requirements

Couple of threads about this issue:
Evaporative Emission Vapor Vent Tube Warranty
Infiniti Enhanced Warranty Letter
Something to keep in mind if you take your car in to get tested, there are some rules:
-Car must have a 1/4 of a tank of fuel in order for the test to be done properly
-If the technician identifies the problem, then the tube is replaced under warranty
-If the technician does NOT identify the problem, it is a $125 charge for the testing and it will not be replaced
