We just took in a 2014 GT-R on trade and I was told that it rides rough. Probably on coilovers. I'm not even remotely interested in driving it for fear of making my back worse. It's hell getting old. I drove a Miata 6 spd. the other day when my foot and leg were already bothering me in anticipation of trying to daily drive the GTI. I did it, but it definitely hurt. Hopefully, I am able to daily drive the GTI.
Not the actual GT-R, but it looks kind of ricey like this one:

One misses RWD when they previously moved to an AWD which was originally a FWD car with a differential added to the rear, such is the case with Honda/Acura and others.
One does not miss RWD when they are coming from ATTESA with beautifully architected electronic torque split:

@4DRZ Can you tell us what the R35 owner drove away with?
Back to watching reruns of JDM Legends for me :-)

How about... someone who now has bankroll that he can afford this
so he buys that for himself and trades in his gtr to get his wife a fully loaded suv to keep her happy lol

Good point. Happy wife, happy life story. Many complain that the R35 is long in the tooth (similar to complaints about the Q50), so perhaps the owner wanted a newer supercar.

I sat in one that was at the local Nissan dealership last year, but I haven't sat in many other cars at this level. As such, I didn't think the interior looked bad? Skyline R32->R34s were not really known for high end interiors either, but for some reason that rawness attracts me to the Skyline and other Datsun/Nissan JDM Legend type cars.
Note that I like the interior in the Q50/G37 and both get hammered by analysts as disappointments. Maybe my interior standards are not as high as others because I grew up around GM products in the 1980s and 90s and still value analog inputs and gauges?

I actually like the r34 interior fully loaded and black. Everything is black, even the A pillars and roof! For when it was made im not sure why anyone wouldn't like it.
And g37 i love the interior (in black), maybe without any of the aluminum could be nicer but still great looking to me. I even love the silly little analog clock and how it lights up, our rpm and speedo gauges in white and blue, my only complaint is that i wish the a pillars and roof were black (im considering covering them in Alcantara).
The gtr though, i could not do all that red lol i am a bit picky and like simple. Never cared for red in the m3, lexus is350, s2k, (integra type r was an exception), but that gtr pic, its a big nope nope nope for me lol. i like my interiors black af.

Oh hey, I like that interior a lot. My only nitpick would to not extend it into the dashboard. Keep the leather there, but make it black. Same for the steering wheel.
Door panels, seats and shift ****... that's enough. The 2009 G37 interior nailed it perfect for our cars, IMO. Stone Leather seats and doors, black dash, black wheel.
But otherwise, OMG that GTR interior would make me happy.
