What vehicle will be a worthy replacement for your sedan when it is time?

I guess so, but they even changed out the turbos.. I mean it's awesome but at the same time, it's not very representative of what the average modder will be able to achieve. I'd still expect pretty good numbers on stock turbos nonetheless. It will be fast after basic mods and a tune!
And yes, the M2 is disappointingly ugly in line with everything else BMW is releasing now. The G80 has however grown on me, especially with the aftermarket CF grille inserts.

Awesome to see support from Nismo on the Z, which also means we have more parts support for our Gs! I do like how the wheels and shift **** look but I wish Nismo would make an appear package like they did with the 350z "Nismo S-tune".

Quite possibly the last ICE Z car
Not tryna be a doomsday conspirist, but the Z lifecycle has been very long and OEM commitments to electrify are only getting more and more ambitious.
Glad to see how well done this model is

You're not being a doomsday conspiracist. EVs will be jammed down our throats, by hook or by crook, no matter how little sense they make for many of us.

Sad but true. At least some of the manufacturers are making EV's that you actually want to drive / be seen in. I mean the Leaf and Prius are totally functional, but both are a hard pass for me because there so fugly

Today marks the first time in 25 years that I looked at a Toyota Prius and thought... damn-n-n-n.
Gorgeous style, 50 mpg give or take, and 200 hp in the AWD model, with 38 miles of EV range.

My hand is being forced, we are expecting our third child around August 2023... I'm likely going to be getting a 3rd row SUV.
Right now I'm thinking Durango, Suburban or Nissan Armada. The Infiniti JX35 / QX60 would be an option but that's what my wife has so I don't want two of the same cars.

If gas doesn't come down to where it was pre-covid, more and more people are going to at least consider getting a Prius if they look like this.

This article (linked below) was written when the US national average was $4.08 per gallon, and it's currently $3.72.
That might seem like a lot, and it certainly hurts people just trying to get buy. However, if you look at adjusted dollars, that's about right, historically speaking over the last 44 years. Granted, we had a nearly 2 decade stretch of really inexpensive gas, a streak that ended around 2005, so it's hard to shake the "I remember when" feelings.

I think feelings about the cost of gas are somewhat like today's feelings about the overall cost of cars, both new and used. It's difficult to reconcile what's current to what was only yesterday. God knows I struggle with what's happened to the cost of cars. But gas... I don't lose sleep over gas. Then again, I don't own a business with a fleet of delivery trucks.

Sure I could get a car that is better on gas, but life is too short for boring cars
