Went to the auto show, saw the new Z. I like it a lot, looks much better in person. Def will go test drive one when they are out, its very tempting if it drives nicely.
They had a Nissan Trivia game at their booth, I beat everyone and won some Nissan swag as well lol.

I had absolutely zero interest in the Z up until about an hour ago. Starting new base price of 30k

Okay Nissan you’ve got my attention.
Thinking hard about nabbing a used one after someone else takes the depreciation hit. This or the new GT86, same plan.

Search around for other car talk youtubers from the Houston Auto Show, and this $30k starting price is being repeated, right or wrong.
I guess we'll find out for sure in a few months.

Either way this car will NOT be cheaper than its predecessor.

This could really shake things in in the world of internet comparisons.
Entry-level Supra vs a loaded Nissan Z.
Entry-level Nissan Z vs a loaded BRZ.
No wait, the Supra only has two pedals. Nevermind. Plus, it's ugly as sin.

Yeah there will be dealer mark ups 100%. I don’t buy new cars anyway so I’d be looking at one with 25k-30k after a year or two.
If MSRP is 30k(ish) then this will a bangin lightly used car option.
I don’t think that link is click bait since it was an actual Nissan rep that stated the base price but who knows.

I wasn't wrong about it being heavier either.
