My Q40 base sedan AWD lease is over next year. (Sept. 2018)
and currently only has 17,500 miles. Payoff at $19,700 by Sept. 18.
If you like a lighter G37x this is the way to go. I have an ECutek tuned by John Visconti. Car is in great shape. I am currently using a differernt set of tire/rim combo and the stock tires are only being use in a diferent car around 4 miles a day.
I' m thinking of getting a 400RS or maybe just get nice decent cat/back for the Q40. My Q40 is pretty quick 0-60 with just a tuned.
Have you guys seen this video?
A G37x vs 400RS
The G37x only had the seat removed.
You can read all the specs you want on papers, but there is a huge variable when it comes to street racing or real world performance.
I quick 0-60 is all you need for daily driven car to avoid jail time.

You know everyone has stories, and the older you get while still digging cars, the more stories you collect. However, I think you're learning the wrong lessons from yours. Just saying. G'luck, Awgd8. Street racing videos are a no-no, but you can relax... I don't think Newt has banned anyone, ever, for any reason.
Side by side street racing, in a 40 mph residential neighborhood, right through a 4-way stop sign... You don't see that every day. Well, I don't. But I don't get out much either.

I am debating this right now. I have a 2010 G37S at and would like replace it some time in 2018. I always buy used to that limits me quite a bit but my list looks something like this.
BMW 4 series
BMW 3 series
Audi S5
Audi S4
Cadillac CTS
Infiniti Q50S (if I can wait a year or two longer)

Problem I have is that I'm not WANTING anything right now.
My list has narrowed down to Infiniti Q50, BMW 3-series, and now considering a Mazda CX-9.
I'm VERY interested in the Kia Stinger and the Genesis G70, but I'm afraid those cars won't have come down enough when I'm shopping for used cars in 2020.

Stinger will definitely come down. There's a lot of talk that the depreciation on that vehicle will be similar to what G owners experienced when the Q was released. Question is, when will the Stinger 'officially' be released. That said, if you're into modding, I can't see too much support for the Stinger to be honest. The auto-only transmission further limits after-market options as well.
