Well, I already have one Sparco seat so maybe I could get another and make it work. Honestly though I would much rather have the Recaros, the carbon package, and a different color right from the start. I have plenty of time too as my extended warranty goes for at least 2 more years and my G has not even hit 41k miles yet. All of the ATS-V's have the same upgraded cooling system for the diff, trans, etc. so no worries there.
Oh my bad, for some reason I was thinking those were part of the Track Performance Package..if thats the case I'm with you on holding out for the seats ...the worst part of track days with the G is trying not to slide around in the non-sport seats...and you wont have to fiddle with airbag lights putting in the aftermarket seat!

Oh yeah, that would suck sliding around in stock leather seats.. The sport seats were decent with the adjustable side bolsters, but the leather was still pretty slippery (another reason I am not fond of leather). The real problem I had with the sport seats was the lack of head room with a helmet. I had to lean the seat back a bit to fit.
I agree that it was a major PITA to get my Sparco seat to work since I was one of the first people to do it, but now that I know how to do it the process is really not that complicated. Those Recaros in the ATS-V were nice though and having a heated seat again would be cool.
I saw a review of the 2019 Mercedes A Class, the interior is its best feature. The 2020 Merceds CLA is getting an interior matching the E Class and will probably be under 40k will be under 20 by 2022
That CTS V looks like it was put through a river. I would much rather get this one. Yours might be a manual and eventually more dear, I doubt it if the title shows that it had water through its gills. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...4212/overview/
So the cheap ATS-V that I thought would have a salvage title due to the low price has the worst CARFAX I have ever seen. It has flood damage, salvage title, total loss, and not actual mileage. This car is not even worth half of what they are asking for it. Garbage.
I originally e-mailed them just asking for a picture of the Performance Data Recorder and a copy of the CARFAX. They responded with a generic e-mail not answering any of my questions. So I asked the same two questions again, but never got a response so I knew something was up. I ran the CARFAX last night and voila! it is terrible. I knew that price was too good to be true.
Pressman Auto sells salvaged title cars. I once considered buying a salvage title car. It was a 2011 Lexus is350 f sport. There was one in LA which is 70 miles from me. I think the guy wanted 15k maybe a bit less. I found a car just like it with a clean title and they would have taken 15k for it, but I would have to spend 800 getting it here. I told the guy with the salvaged title I would probably pay 10-11k and he wasn't having any of it. Salvaged cars are supposed to be 40% less than a clean title. So 31k when a clean one is 34k is a wtf moment.
I was looking at this little car. It is around 23k and has 480hp according to ARP. Possibly 600hp if I let them play with it, but 480hp is sufficient. I really like the interior wish it was darker leather though. It feels like pretty decent bang for the buck.

Audi's can be a lot of fun, quick, and powerful when tuned. Unfortunately most of them are A/T, heavy, and have most of the weight over the nose so they handle like garbage (see RS3 Lightning Lap). Still great cars for the street thought and the AWD is nice here in the winter. We had a couple of used RS5's with the 450 hp V8 that sounded great.
Yeah the weight and size is a turn off. I would have to drive one, but what a deal lb per dollar. Apparently they weight about 450 more than my car. I don't need awd, but it could be fun having so much traction.

You will definitely get the hole shot every time you drag race a RWD car with the added grip. Especially since most Audis are such sleepers. And the AWD will also come in handy the 3 days a year it rains by you.
I don't plan on selling my car anytime soon it will be hitting 303,000 KM I just paid for smog and license. I might move in a few years it might be to a place that rains more, but not to anywhere that it gets below 35f

Those are the cars I am thinking of. My car is worth around 6k and an Audi A6, BMW 328i or Toyota could be had under 16k the rest (except the tesla )in the 20s. In time It will be more affordable.
I lean more towards the Tesla and the BMW 328i. The BMW ticks most every mark for a gas powered car, good fuel economy, fairly light around 3300-3400, ability to be modified and prices from 11k
