Your last car, your G Sedan... and your next car

Five years ago, I test drove a 2012 with a friend from work who was considering the new Optima. I found that 2.0T pretty rewarding, although all boost and a suspension that was way too floaty for my tastes. Visually, the car was spot-on for a number of reasons. Very reasonable choice, IMO.
The Giulia... wasn't impressed in person at the Auto Show, but I've never driven one. One thing for sure: their $80k, 500+hp top-of-model car is positively loved by reviewers, and the styling is growing on me.

I have heard the Giulia is fun to drive, the 500+ hp is awesome but not practical for me, I would be considering the 2.0T model. The TI to be specific. Good amount of power but I am waiting to see how reliable it stands out in the US market.
Thanks!

Previous Ride: 1994 Honda Civic EX Coupe. Nothing special, just a reliable cheap car.
Current Ride: 2011 G37S Sedan 6MT. We all know what's great about it.
Next Car: I want a project car. I'm hoping to find a good condition MK2 Supra.
Something along these lines:
Swap in a Gen3/4 Chevy V8
Add a very large turbo.
...
Profit!

1. Nissan family. Altima /350z
2. G37xs great reliability, wrong transmission
3. I desperately want a chevy v8 with a manual maybe an 5th gen Camaro or c6 vette if the kids daycare doesn't drain me. The SS is great, but not practical in the northeast.

1) Altima SER 6-sp
2) G sedan 6-sp
3) Probably Lexus GS for day-to-day, and keep the G as the fun car (by then, I'll prob be willing to do suspension, exhaust, etc.)
Pretty sure my career will take me to another major city within 2 yrs, so #3 may become a beater, and I'll leave the G with family.
Life's a bit of a wildcard at the moment
