I'm curious what year and models most ya'll have on here. And also, why did you choose that specific model?

Why didn't you start a poll?
Check my sig. I wanted a manual but there was only one new sedan with manual in the southern half of the U.S. and I wasn't willing to wait three months to special order. White because Texas, sedan so I can haul three other adults in reasonable comfort.

I almost bought a G35 in 2007 but went with a Miata instead. After that was paid off I acquired a G.

Both our Gs have been RWD journeys, the 07 had the 5AT and the 09 has the 7AT. I would have gotten an S w/ 6MT but my wife is the primary driver of this car (I only drive it to get gas, and all out of town drives). My wife didn't like the S seats, I tried on several test drive days and could get the green light. Too bad since she doesn't mind manual transmissions.

I for some reason couldn't find the poll option (probably because I'm on mobile). But hopefully this sparks more open discussion than a poll post would.

Out of curiosity, why do you wish you had the RWD sedan instead of the G37x?

I drive in the Northeast, all year round. AWD seemed like the right thing to do. Plus I felt I needed to move on a car before my trade value was too low to matter.

'13 G37xS Coupe
Got the X b/c it's a daily driver in the North East.

I got the S because, well,
I like big brakes and I can not lie...

2009 G37X 7at Journey Sedan. I got it because:

a) I wanted the AWD because where I live in GA straight roads do not exist and was hoping it would be more agile then a RWD plus I wanted AWD for track reasons

b) It was the only option in my state at the time that wasn't black, red, or white (all colors I will never have on a car I own) and fit my other requirements

c) Being AWD drive I used it as leverage to lower the price by $3k since we "live in GA, there is rarely snow" (not lying, it worked or they just didn't want the car on the lot any more)

d) Xs are only offered with auto

e) Sedan because I figured it's easier to load kids through a door rather then going behind a seat and I have a dedicated 2dr that weighs half as much and has about 75% more power

f) '09 because it was cheaper then any of the other later years and had the newer tranny and engine of the V36s as opposed to the '07-'08... plus I'm weird I guess and like the front and rear end of the zenki more then the koukis

g) A used journey was cheaper then the sport by like $4k and it came with nav still and I liked the journey front bumper with the lip I got more then any other stock G option, and it only cost me around quarter the $4k to upgrade the few visual things on the car to sport status (paddle sifters, rocker panels, akebonos) and I knew I was going to swap out the suspension parts and wheels so going sport would have been a waste

What do you mean turn off traction control? I just got my S, and am still trying to figure everything out.

2010 G37S 6MT coupe. It was one of the few lower mileage 6MT's in the tristate area, had the IPL bodykit already installed, and was being sold privately for a reasonable price. I live in NJ, but figured that winter rubber compensates for the lack of awd.

I've yet to have truly needed AWD. Granted I've only had this car through 1 Ohio winter. I am always modding my cars and the lack of mods for the AWD cars sucks.

Are you saying the TC button is only available on the RWD Sport Package?

You sure about that?

This feature has a very special disabling procedure:
- Step on the brake
- Put the car into reverse
- Press the horn three times for three seconds each time.

Oh and this works best when performed at a stoplight.
