2011 vs. 2012 G37 - major differences
Hey all,
Looking at purchasing a used G37 sedan (just lost my G35 in an accident ).
I've been lurking through a number of threads and websites doing some research, but havent had any luck finding somewhere that lists out differences clearly. I know from 2010 to 2011 there was a bumper change. I did read somewhere that the 2012 model fixed the leaky gasket issue.
I'd love if someone could share some more details on the biggest changes (though I know there were not many).
Thanks!

I believe if it fails it would be covered under your powertrain warranty. They wouldn't replace it if it doesn't fail for free unless it's on your dime though.

You can find out the build date by asking the dealer. The dealer can check the vin and tell you when and where it was built and shipped to. Most cars are built the year before they go on sale. A 2012 model could be built in 2011 but sold as 2012 for marketing purposes.
