Oil Change/Filter Change reminder on navigation screen. How long till I am due?
Usually on cars these reminders will come up when you start the car and then goes away after a few seconds, this usually means it is truly not due yet but it is getting close. When it is really, really close the messages will stay on.
Yesterday I turned on the car and the oil change reminder came on and then the filter change reminder came on the navigation screen. After a few seconds it went away. No notifications came on the cluster area.
How long once these messages come up am I really due for service?

Here is a picture of my nav screen. There is a small red line between the arrow and the white row. How much time until I need the oil changed? Does the arrow keep getting closer and closer to 0 until the car really needs the oil changed or how does it work?

I have an older car and my display is different than this one. I believe that when you get the reminder you are close enough to the set mileage that you can have it done then. I don't know how many miles. I'm not sure if the trigger of the reminder light is at fixed mileage or if it's set by the user.
I suggest that when you have it changed, reset your B odometer and you can easily have a constant monitor of miles traveled since your last change and you can tell exactly how many miles until it's due. That said, it's not vitally important that your oil change be done at the exact interval. Slightly early or a few extra miles past it make absolutely no difference, especially since you have a very short change interval like 3750. Many of us have been successful going 5K, 7.5K, or even 10K miles or more between changes. The definitive oil thread has info on this. My personal longest was about 9700 miles or so. The analysis of the used oil was great and it actually still some had useful life left according to the TBN test.

From what I recall there's 2 interval monitors. One in the dash as pictured above, the other in the screen between the speedo and tach. Both are annoying. I keep a spreadsheet with maintenance details. Usually go ~3500 - 5K between changes. Closer to 3500 when mostly city driving.
