Free replacement up to 24 months. After that, prorated.
WRONG Black Betty.... Okay I have an update... Well I did need a new battery. Infiniti covered it 100 percent... Plus the new battery they gave me came with a 84 month warranty. The first 2 years will also be 100 percent covered and after that it will be prorated.. The service advisor told me the batteries are 100 percent covered 4 years or 60,000 miles.

When I need to change the battery in the G, I will probably put in the optima, since I have a 1000 watt amp with a 4 ferret cap... and with all the electronics in the car.. I'll spend the little extra money for it..

How did you get 2.5 ferrets in there ? Cut one in half?

The manual I linked to is for 2014 model year. I'm glad to be wrong in this case, and glad they covered it for you. I presumed that manual included toe original battery, but it seems yours was covered by the factory bumper to bumper and anything subsequent to that is what's covered by the battery warranty manual.

I got a new one from the dealer for 104. I figured that was fair and has a good enough warranty.

What year is your car and how many miles do you have on it?

Don't know why he told you a cap is a hinderence....the whole point is to have stored energy for when your car needs is when the draw is more then what the battery can supply (which is obvious in your case since you needed it for the lights to work properly)

To each their own is to be used on opinions. Caps being a hindrance is a fact.

Read up on caps and why they are a hindrance and why they don't work.

https://axleaddict.com/cars/Car-Audi...They-DONT-Work

I could go through and find 40+ links if I wanted to, but the results are the same. The cap puts a bigger strain on your charging system due to being another battery to charge.

I'll stop derailing the thread, but facts needed to be stated.

Please do. And you are completely unequivocally right about that but they'll keep selling them as long as people are willing to pay money for them.

Back on topic please.
