Lightbulb Acceleration Pedal

How do I disconnect the acceleration pedal from the 2011 G37? I have a flathead screwdriver.

The accelerator pedal on the 2013 should be the same thing and I recently removed mine to install a throttle controller. So.... in front of the pedal there is a rectangular small cap. You have to remove this with a small screwdriver or anything with a very thin end to pry it out. Under that are two bolts. Remove these two bolts and you can then move the accelerator pedal and get to behind it where there is a sensor harness connector that you need to remove. Thats it....

Remember if you remove the harness you have to perform a "accelerator pedal released position learning" so when you reinstall.....

Accelerator Pedal Release Position Learning
Operation Procedure
1. Make sure that the accelerator pedal is fully released.
2. Turn ignition switch “ON” and wait at least 2 seconds.
3. Turn ignition switch “OFF” wait at least 10 seconds.
4. Turn ignition switch “ON” and wait at least 2 seconds.
5. Turn ignition switch “OFF” wait at least 10 seconds.

I hope this helps!
