Gonna be putting this on this weekend, came with no instructions but looks simple enough. it appears that the pipes leading into the mufflers just slide into the back of the y-pipe and sit there? no hardware nor holes for bolts so it kinda just sits there attached to the hangers?

Not quite sure what you mean because the axel back goes on only one way and its pretty obvious.... Should be like this: I have a coupe however...so unsure...

The Tanabe axleback for the sedan reuses the OEM hardware. You slide in the pipes and bolt down the exhaust clamp.

I installed a sedan Tanabe exhaust on a buddy's car. It reuses the OEM hardware, hinges, etc. and is as straightforward as it looks.
