Did my 2nd phase of prettying up the engine bay. Added Zspec fasteners and Alutec strut tower brace.
Burnt Neo-Chrome on engine cover and throttle body, and flat allen heads with inset red washers on the rest of the bay.
Final touch was the aluminum Alutec brace, quality is great btw.

Tried to put on new rotors and pads, for the life of me....One of my lugnuts in the back is compromised somehow..Not sure if the pegs got bent or what. It seems like the wrench wont fit on the nut...WTF ??!!...is it even possible its a different size ??...help ?!

Sounds like the nut is rounded. Best way to deal with that is hammer a 20mm socket on there. And get a new lug nut. Why the heck does my phone keep correcting nut to but? Glad I proof read this.

Of course it just occurred to me you may have aftermarket lug nuts. Same plan thought. Just find a 12point socket that doesn't quite fit over the lug nut, and pound it on.

Got my sub installed a few days ago. I created harness/plug-thingy that was based off of idea I got from TBau651. Find more details in [this thread].
Just got my 3 out of 4 coils installed. Got my friend to do it since this is the first time I've ever bought coils and I've never worked on cars other than oil changes. Installation in the rear was a breeze, but all problems came up at the fronts. Whoever worked on the car when the previous owner was in possession of the car had the bolts that hold the strut to the lower control arm extremely over-tightened. After about an hour, my friend managed to get the front-left coil installed. Front-right was just near impossible. We were only using hand tools and managed to snap 2 extension bars and destroyed the gear inside the wrench. My friend does have air tools, but we weren't at his house, which is why we were using hand tools. Gonna tackle the last coil tomorrow with the proper tools. I'm definitely excited to get this last coil installed because the rear is looking sexy af. Currently driving "chicano-style" with the rear lower than the front.
EDIT: The culprit that's turning this 1-hour job into 4 hours:

My first mod! Carsmo ***** installed.
The OEM ***** kinda gave me a hard time but once I got over trying preserve them they came off relatively easy.
But I LOVE the look! So simple, yet such a huge improvement on the perceived quality of the interior. And I LOVE the reflection of the purple rings on the audio *****. But that was the first time I noticed that the climate control ***** don't have the purple ring. Boo.
Also noticed they get a little hot in the Houston summer heat. Lol

That Neo-Chrome STB looks like a quality piece. Nice choice! I'm curious, though, are those mounting holes slotted for adjustment or it is basically a one size fits all strut tower brace?
As a side note, your throttle bodies look like they've been through a salt bath... I'm guess you live in area where they salt and sand the roads in the Winter. Anyway, IMO your engine bay would definitely benefit from a little buffing with a scotch bright pad or some other type of buffing pad on that aluminum.
