If flame heat doesnt work or dont want it you could always try cold. Freon or Dry ice should lift the plastic from the metal.
Worth a shot.

Reset my ecu cause I was getting p010c codes 🤩 all headaches aside I figured to replace the MAF and some cheap STP air filters to hold me down until I upgrade

I know it's silly, but I switched from the zspeed undertray to Z1. Part of it was to get into the contest for both the new Z + Frontier, and the other is just because it looks cooler. I would say the Zspeed one is slightly easier to install, although I don't remember that one coming with the tool to install the rivets, and Z1's does. Bonus, I also cleaned up my RX7 a bit and installed a new wing on it. I'll share the link but I won't embed since it's not a G.

Nice, I like how Z1 handled their oil filter access. I have the TBW and the holw doesnt line up perfectly with the filter, always causing a mess. I have a drain valve now, but before it was really annoying.
Only issue I can see is those louver vent things. ive had to hammer my undertray back to shape twice now after nailing some bad roads. Not sure how those would hold up lol.

The zspeed one seems good for oil changes, but on a windy day outside I could see it getting on the tray. This Z1 one you have complete access which is cool! I never bottomed out either one yet, hope to keep it that way!

My old route to my exes place had a lot of heavy truck traffic entering the highway, so the roads have a hump in the middle and dents where the wheels go, making you scrape on a leaf if it gets in the way. So it was a unique situation, but it trashed my tray and it needed serious surgery lol.

I have the Z1 under shroud and struggle with speed bumps that are placed close to the entrance way of a parking lot. It seems that these speed bumps and steep entry/exits that I used to barely clear just fine with the "one wheel at a time" approach, are now slightly problematic and drag slightly when presented as two back to back obstacles to manage. I think the problem lies in the fact that the unit has sharp right angles as edges and those edges seem to be what’s dragging. Note that the dragging is slight (but loud because it's aluminum vs plastic), so you end up learning how to live with scratching of those edges (barely visible on the brushed aluminum version). The lowest point is still where the Y-Pipe meets the midpipe and wide speed bumps cause that interface to scrape.

I also observed that there is more noise coming from the underside of the car as small debris and stones bounce off the aluminum and that the front of the car feels more rigid, but I have gotten used to both.

Upsides: In addition to knocking 20 minutes off the time it takes to remove/reinstall the OEM plastic cover when you do an oil change, I also like that its now much easier to locate and retrieve anything that accidentally falls while you are working under the hood. With the OEM shroud, things that fell went into the abyss and you needed to remove the entire shroud to find them.

Haven't scraped my ZSpeed shroud either, and my car is (still) on Nismo springs in the front.

That sounds really good! I have the same exhaust and I love it. Are you running test pipes or high-flow cats?

Same. Rumbly at idle, and awesome under heavy throttle. But relatively easy to live with for daily driving.

I'm almost a decade into having a FI exhaust, and still love it.
