I never weighed it before actually so I don't have anything to compare it to. Edmunds.com lists the curb weight (with full tank of gas) at 3,709 for a 2012 G37S sedan 6MT. With quick math, the car should weigh around 3,600 with 1/4 tank gas, meaning the car has shed around 140lbs after my mods and that seems pretty accurate to me.

I also drive without the spare and tools.

So more quick math of weight savings:

Spare and tools - 35lbs
FI 2.5" CBE with RHFC's - 5lbs?
Lightweight wheels (lighter lugs too) - 25lbs
2 piece rotors F+R - 30lbs
Antigravity Atx 30 lithium battery - 40lbs
Hood liner, trunk liner, airboxes, engine cover - 5lbs?

Total - 140ish

Seems about right! Overall very pleased. And as I've driven the car more with these lightweight rotors, it really did make a noticeable difference. I guess I'm pretty in-tune with how the car drives? I don't like heaviness in cars and I can tell the steering and "lugging" around feeling of driving is lesser now. Acceleration is a little more peppy in the lower gears.

I feel like the RHFCs weigh much, MUCH less than the oem cats. Rest of the FI exhaust is probably on par with the oem - pipes are heavier, mufflers lighter.

I thought there was a thread on here where someone weighed all the stuff they removed from the car, but I can't seem to find it at the moment.

I have specific numbers on the cats. I weighed them when I put on the RHFC's.

Stock cat 1 - 10.4lbs
Stock cat 2 - 10.8lbs
Bracket and bolts - 2.8lbs
Total - 24lbs

AAM RHFC's total weight - 13.6lbs

So weight loss from that is about 10.4lbs

Unfortunately I didn't weigh the catback because I didn't have stock numbers anyway.

The OEM mufflers actually weren’t that bad, at least when compared to the Tanabe mufflers. It’s only a few pounds difference but when picking them both up, it’s feels like much more. It was weird.

13.8lbs

16.4lbs

Did this a couple days ago (forgot to take a before picture), but I converted my 2015 Q40 OEM front bumper to the sports bumper, including a lip. Think it turned out pretty well.

Doing a little weekend project on the taillights. Diode Dynamics 90mm and 110mm halos. I know it's not to everyone's tastes but there's no doubt they are brighter than factory.

Taillight brightness

Now is the time to pull/cover the side LED. These take away from such a nice look to the tails.

Funny you say that, I actually left those plugged in...I'll have to see how I feel about them. If I end up not favoring I can always snip the running light wire that goes into the housing.

Pulled the engine stand outside to catch some sunlight. Really happy with the outcome, HF dollies are the true underdogs as I'm able to wheel her around by myself. I've posted many videos on my IG What_wires

Currently working on VHR swap boxes and harness conversions

I also believe you need more beer bottle openers

Can you ever have too many tools? Bottle openers are tools, right? right? In reality I actually got those as an add on to a tool order years ago. I thought it would be an interesting way to test the different grips each brand offers. I'd really like a new set of Wera screwdrivers as my insulated Whia set is grimey from working on cars.

Installed both the halo tail lights and the light strip 3rd brake or (CHMSTL). I couldn't wait for a night time photo so grabbed some around lunch today. I think it really modernizes the look of the car.

Just running lights.

All brake lights illuminated.

Close up of the new lights.

I'm really liking it, what are y'alls thoughts?
