What did you do to your Sedan today?

I went with FI because all my research told me it was the best (personal) assessment of cost and quality.
Subjective opinions, to be sure.

I do feel your pain; I went with FI partially because of reviews and partly because no one around here impressed me much.
Have a local shop show you pictures of previous builds (hint: you want to see mandrel bends welded in, not crush-bent tubing). If they don't have a picture book of previous custom builds, walk away.
Find out where the local GM/Ford guys get their exhausts made - custom is way more of a thing with domestics. My friend who has an older CTS-V got a piece of freaking art for like $1200... that's 3" headers back to tips. Commercial 3" exhausts are like $4k and up...

OEM rear trunk mat came in today, I was bothered my car didn't have it. I'll go toss it in later. Reminds me I need to find a day to install the new dead pedal.
I will resume my insurance in a week or so as the weather has gotten really nice in Chicago. Really wanting it to rain to wash most of the salt away.

Car content - went by a wrap place close to my house to talk about getting the chrome delete on window surrounds and trunk finisher. Was quoted $800, which I believe is F-off pricing. I could get them professional painted for less.
Sigh. I'm *not* good at that sort of thing, and I know it - but I can waste a boat-load of vinyl and not come close to half that.

It wasn’t that bad, just a little time consuming.

Today I finally burned a full tank down to empty, and filled up with 93 Octane in prep for a remote tune this Spring.
Man, 93 is expensive. Oh well. I better start getting used to it.

Yeppppp get used to it! Gotta pay up for the performance!
My vinyl trim came in today. I need to schedule a window tint appointment and then I'll put on the vinyl after that.
Hey I found some 2x4's in my shed last weekend, so I put 2 of them next to each other and drove up on them and the jack fit under there perfectly! Easy peasy. So I moved my Eibach front sway from the soft setting to firm (there are 2 settings for front).
I took the car out for a long drive on a curvy mountain road. Gosh, it handles great now! And there's not a lot of added harshness when going over bumps / imperfections when driving normally. I think I'll leave it on firm now! So my current suspension setup is now:
Front: Eibach sway bar on firm, 370z nismo springs - 0.75" drop compared to sport springs and slightly higher spring rate
Rear: Eibach sway bar on medium, 370z nismo springs - 1 - 1/8" drop and moderately higher spring rate
18lb wheels with pilot sport a/s 3+
Car handles super great with this setup! Looking forward to seeing how 2-piece front rotors improves it even more.

Backman,
Nice! I just change my Eibach front bar to the stiffer setting today too.
Wheels got dropped off at my detailers this morning to get ceramic coated.
Swapped in the Zspeed short shifter. Didn’t want to take out the whole center console so I worked around it. Cars not on the ground yet but it feels smooth and clicks nicely into every gear.

Let me know what you think about the firm setting up front when you get a chance to toss the car around a bit. What torque setting did you use by the way? I couldn't find a lot of specific info. From what I gathered, I torqued them to 70 lb ft.

I believe the FSM calls for 84 lbs ft but I just slap on a 80 torque stick on my 1/2 gun and call it a day.

Optix Window Trim Chrome Delete Blackout Precut Vinyl Wrap Overlay Kit Compatible with and Fits Infiniti G35 G37 Q40 Sedan 2007-2015 - Metallic Matte Chrome Black
That’s the one I ordered. I choose satin metallic black for that OEM look, but there’s a bunch of other colors too.
