EDIT: Yes, plugs were changed 100639 miles 3.5 years ago. Now it has just over 140K, so yeah... Love them stealerships.
The differential brace is an great & easy upgrade for us RWD folk however I am not sure it fits the X model without modification.

The dealer wanted to take advantage of the situation, there is nothing on the list that I would be worried about.

The 11 in question is RWD, so guess it shouldn't be a biggie. I'll check on that when ever comes home next. I freaking hate dealers. Pretty much any shops, really.

I bought a set of Akebono calipers from Ace_07 about 6 weeks ago.
I test fit them yesterday with my 18" summer wheels,my plan being to buy some 19" wheels for summer and use the current 18" summers for winter.
The good news is the calipers look great.
The bad news is they don't fit under those wheels.

I stacked up some washers and figured out that I need a 6mm spacer to give me 3.5mm of clearance.
Most aftermarket suppliers offer 5mm (allowing only 2.5mm clearance: a bit tight) or 10mm (giving me 7.5mm clearance).
I'd prefer not to have any spacers messing with steering geometry, so the less the better.
So, I'm looking around for someone who makes a spacer between 5 and 10mm.

Definitely won't be cheap, but you'll get the end result that you want.

I had these on my G, top notch quality. And they make custom spacers, 3mm+

The X has been just sitting on the driveway since Saturday in the freezing Texas weather and snow. Will sit there until tomorrow when I finally have to go get a new battery for it. Pretty sure it's deader than a doornail by now. LOL!

SC is just monsoon wet but car is also sitting - went from work at home/court in court to work at home/virtual hearings. So many virtual hearings that I bought a clip-on tie from Amazon rather than tie/untie my real ties 5x per day. Kinda nice doing court in jeans and barefoot though (yay for camera angles not showing below chest-high). Someday soon I'll get some time outside and put the other Hotchkis bar on.

Looks like tomorrow will be busy otherwise, so went and got a new battery for the X from Advanced Auto. 150-some bucks later we’re good to go again. Went and drove it a few miles to see if any issues after the arctic blast. Nothing that I could see/feel/hear.

Well I finally switched to full synthetic at 111k miles but more importantly...

I PAID OFF MY G37x A YEAR EARLY!!!😋😋😋

Only 6k more miles remaining on my aftermarket warranty and I’ll be ready to start modifying😈

Soo I have a ‘13 Infiniti G37x sedan (2nd owner, 1st old-man owner baby’d it) and just clocked 111k miles.

Questions for y’all G37 experts: I know the usual first, most basic mod/upgrades are exhaust/suspension/wheels/intake (and plan on doing so in that order) BUT... are there any “common problems” or small recommended tune-ups for my model year I should know about?

Got a beautiful weather weekend coming up and... have to drive out of town to the inlaws. In her car, in case she decides to stop at IKEA on the way back. I mean, I love my inlaws, they're great people and the house is like a mountain vacation rental, but always, always, when I want to work on the car. Do we go up when it's a crappy weather weekend here? Nope.

Tail of the Dragon plate

I’ve had this license plate for two years now. First had it on my coupe until it was totaled. I was so proud of that car handling all the abuse I did to it lol and for nearly a year it’s just been sitting in my garage. So I got a rubber wrap-around license plate cover, I clear coated the plate and now I’m gonna put it on my sedan. It’s a small mod but I love it. The dragon is such a cool driving road!

You know, I have yet to drive the Dragon and I live relatively near it. Lived in Asheville NC even for a while - although while there I was a fan of NC route 215.
