Sort of, if you are good with soldering. you need to take it apart and replace the red LEDs with blue. My cluster is actually the first gen one as well, but i replaced the needles and white screen from the newer 2010+ cluster since my display had gone bad.

it is metal mesh. Not sure why the body shop guy didn't remove the bumper

Ah. I tried something similar first, but it looked too much like a riced out civic for my taste, so I found something thicker. The thickness of the plastic one gives it more of an OEM feeling.

I guess I will find out. Riced out civic is not the look that I am going for

Yours absolutely looks better than a wire mesh. I agree, it's not the pattern that's the issue, it's the material depth. The wire mesh approach is so flat, that's why it looks ricey.

Personally, I think the best looking front grille on the Sedan is the OEM grille but with the Fuji removed and some good body work filling in the slats. Then black with body color trim, natch.

I still have that thing kicking around somewhere in storage. Thanks for the reminder. Now that the headlights are black, it won't look out of place.

Oh yeah, you should absolutely put that on, for the Fall at least, to see how it works with your new bumper, headlights and fog area.

Go for it! Takes some pics, bump your build thread.

And just think, it won't cost you a dime.

I was going to ask "I wonder how it would look with the sports bumper"
I agree with Roch, it should look bad *** with the new bumper.

I'll see if I have time this weekend. Installing something else, as long as it doesn't give me trouble, will try the grille on.

Every winter I put 15mm spacer adapters on the car, so the winter wheels aren't so obviously tucked. And every spring I take them off. So... if I don't clean them when they come off, then I have to clean them before they go back on.

That's what I did today. Fun stuff..

I'm debating if I even want to bother putting on my winter wheels this year. I don't have to go into work and I've put like 500 miles on my car since February. On the other hand, i wonder if my summer tires will get damaged from sitting on the car, outside, in the cold?

Y pipe is on. It got maybe a tiny bit louder, maybe not, but definitely a lot deeper. I rather like it. Next, cats. Oh and I didn't have time to put the other grille on... Ended up playing with my sister's new dog most of the day lol.

Maybe worth it just to save the tires. The summer compound gets super hard and starts to crack if the warm and cold cycles get crazy.

Now that It will blend perfectly to the bumper it should change the look of the grill.
You could kind of see it from this picture.
