What did you do to your Sedan today?

I was totally committed to breaking them as well (didn't end up breaking either one, but rounded one quite a bit). My problem was getting enough extensions to go in from the top to reach it plus hit the right angle

I was intending to use an impact gun to make it easier, but with 3'+ of extensions there's too much wobble to transmit torque well. I ended up using a 2' breaker bar with the 4' jack handle over it. All on 1/2" drive with a uni joint right before the socket. Removed the intake tubes but didn't mess with the steering coupler.

At the mechanic shop, we ran into the same issue. Too much length is not good, but got down to close as possible and just rocked them until they finally spun off. Was ready to remove the steering coupler, but didnt need to either

Did that exact same thing years ago with a half-height lug nut for my spacers that got stripped. Stupid lug nuts.

When I was in the USAF some of my airmen came from less reputable backgrounds (the join up or go to jail type). I learned that pretty much any wheel lug nut lock is useless against a guy with sacrificial sockets or socket stud removers. Hammer on, turn off, free wheels

Decided to mess with the exhaust some today. Just something budget minded for a better sound until I figure out what direction I’m going to go with the engine.
