I've got a quick question for anyone who's familiar with our stock exhausts. I've did some research, but if anyone has first hand knowledge, or just knows, input is appreciated.
I'm planning to install some HFC (Likely Z1, maybe Kinetixs) soon. I know the stock sedan Y-pipe is 2.25in, and the coupe is 2.5. I have a buddy that is going to give me his stock Y-pipe for his coupe. Will there be restrictions between the coupe Y-Pipe to the sedan midpipe? I can grab his midpipe as well if I want it. Without going full aftermarket catback (already have an HKS axleback, might eventually go full HKS CBE, but all of this is free) what's my best option here? Aftermarket Y-pipes are a bit pricey so I will be picking up the coupe's for sure (for now). Just not sure if I should grab the midpipe or if it's the same diameter as my sedans / not worth it due to not fitting properly (or not easily fixed/welded).
I'll keep reading and searching, but figured someone with firsthand knowledge might save me some time or have suggestions. As I mentioned, everything is free and I'm installing so I figured I'd see give it a go. Worst case I just switch it back. I'll likely pick them both up if I don't hear otherwise. I'd rather not take more than I need though. Any help is appreciated.
Were you able to source the special lower grille with the ICC cutout? Or are you just gonna cut it?
Yes the icc grill is available for the sport bumper, however since I don't use cruise and if I ever do i use normal cruise ill get the normal lower grill to hide the laser. I would remove it altogether but removal of the laser throws a code which prevents me from accessing my other tune maps.

I'm pretty sure the coupe midpipe is longer. Anyway the size difference is fine. I have the megan racing Y pipe on my sedan and it is 2.5 as well.
I took the daak side to the dealership for an oil change last month. They told me she needed new air filters, new cabin filter, new rear tires and a new serpentine belt. I told them: These items are all decently easy for me to do myself and I can order them online but thanks. Well... I got the "air filter" first. Still need to get the cabin filter and serpentine belt. Once I showed my wife how dirty the air she agreed that I should get the air filter first. Filters came in today 😁
I didn't know that was a thing. Black Chrome is a fantastic finish. $80/each? Wow, that's a great price.
Is that Lakeshore Slate? Man, I loved that color.

Yep, bought them as budget wheels from Grubbs Infiniti on a liquidation sale. I bought a set of four rears, 18x8.5. The black chrome is a cool finish, it makes the duckfeet look better IMO.
It's actually blue slate, but I agree, Lakeshore slate is a really awesome color.
