What did you do to your Sedan today?

Added a q60 shift **** in replacement of the oem ****. The leather boot does have a bit of tension when in park, just gotta rearrange it a bit. Sits at the same height as the oem shiftknob.
It updated the look of the interior a lot more.
Gonna try wrapping the center console next 🤟🏻

Im gonna start wrapping the trim around shifter assembly today. its pretty straight forward, since the trim separates from the gear indicator. with the upper section, i believe the climate controls and stereo controls separate from the centre console trim as well...not quite sure on that. but i guess we'll see

My cheapo sport seat is done. It's literally a combination of 3 seats put together to make one fully working seat. I thought it would look weird just having a driver seat, but honestly I don't think its really that bad. Nobody will ever notice. I dyed all the white stitching black to match. There are some wrinnkles on the leather, still need to work those out.
Also this weirdness, turns out the seats have different designations for manual or automatic cars. After I put in the new seat I realized my memory didn't work anymore, swapped the module from my stock seat back in and all functions work 100%. I can't even think of why manual and automatic cars would have different seats??

Difference may have to do with the easy exit feature on the automatic - does the manual have this? I wouldn’t want the driver’s seat moving when I have the clutch pressed in (especially backwards) as it could cause the car to move. Just a thought - seat looks great!

Oh - that might make sense then. The easy exit feature is in the settings and it will raise the steering wheel up and put the seat all the way back so it's easier to get in and out of the car. I would be curious to know if your 6MT car has it
