What did you do to your Sedan today?

I wonder if they'd fit above the rear coilovers since the towers are a bit strange for the sedan. Speaking of which, does anyone have a picture of the strut tower without the struts installed? I've done these twice but I can't recall what they look like.

I finally finished my LCD screen upgrade / conversion. My goal was to be able to show the stock Infiniti display, OEM backup camera, and high-res HDMI input with touch for my Raspberry Pi running Android Auto. To switch back to the Infiniti interface there is a button in the center console. Also, it taps into the reverse signal so it will switch into the backup camera regardless of what input I am on.
I'm happy with the result

That's amazing 😍

Cleaned up my headlights, tossed on my 18s. Fronts need spacers and now I want it lower lol. BBK is next but I only ordered one banjo bolt apparently so I guess I'll order another one lol and my sport bumper is just waiting for a paint store to open so I can paint it 😔

Thanks, It's actually not the OEM screen now. I replaced it with a higher res 1024x600 display with HDMI inputs, then tied that into the board from the OEM display so that the picture would show up. It's also LED backlit as opposed to the older CCFL junk. Overall, the whole project only costs me around $60.

Can we get a parts list? I would love to attempt this in the very near future
Quick edit, saw your thread and I'm guessing I need information on the screen addition

Yeah I should do a full writeup. I have a thread posted on my previous project, which used the stock system and screen. This is a totally new thing, replacing the center screen completely with new LCD and electronics.
Parts:
Screen: https://www.ebay.com/itm/7-inch-LCD-...72.m2749.l2649
Digitizer: https://www.ebay.com/itm/7-inch-capa...72.m2749.l2649
Weiya CV-04 (used to convert the stock screen signal to composite): https://www.sintron.co.uk/products/s...converter-mame
I also bought a spare OEM screen module off ebay - so i could use the housing and the motherboard. The one i got was from a Nissan truck which shares the same part (was way cheaper)
Here is an overview of the parts, some of the wiring.
Here is where I tapped into the stock motherboard to pull of the screen data and backup camera.

Incredible work! I really wish I had thought about using a Pi with the OEM setup. I've used a GROM Vline, Tesla Style Android, and currently have a downpayment for the Workshop 12 Android tablet solution. Ugh would have saved quite a bit a $$$ and kept that OEM functionality, just was worried about the crappy screen.

Yeah, i'm trying to figure out a way that I can make some easy to install kits. I made the (mistake?) of posting this on Facebook and i currently have 180 likes, about 150 comments and about 30 PMs of people asking to buy one right now. Clearly there is a market here. Only thing is it's a pretty involved modification so I would have to find a way to simplify it.

I hear you on Workshop12, although most 350z owners love it- and the company seems rather responsive in pushing updates frequently for their products. My only main gripe is that backup cam/sensors/mics are not natively supported- so I'd have to look at aftermarket solutions. But the ability to have a quality tablet in the car integrated into most OEM functions is very appealing to me.
