So I had no plans to do any more mods to the car, but today I ordered nice new rotors, y pipe and z1 intakes. It never ends.
Good for you. Which rotors? And do you think you'll be able to reuse your P2M clamps?
This weekend I got the itch to take baby steps out of Winter. So I cleaned, clayed and sealed the trunk and rear bumper. I don't know the aerodynamic priciple at play here, but my trunk face and rear bumper collect rail dust and other contaminants more than any other area of the car. Like twice as much, or twice as quickly, either one. You really have to keep up on it, because it's particularly noticeable on a white car.

Well, I didn't have the budget to match your gorgeous new setup, especially with the pricing the new tariffs drove up. Got the z1 slotted rotors. Good question about the p2m. I'm not sure. The size of the tube at the throttle body is the same, so I think so. If not, I'm definitely ordering more.

I feel your pain. Even when I do a fresh wash and drive home from the car wash, the trunk area is already filthy. I noticed a slight decrease after the little spoiler went on, but still the worst part of the car when it comes to gathering dirt. And with salt in the air, it's just as bad on a black car. Although, right now, my car is closer to white than black with the layer of salt on it. Reminds me, I'm going to go give it a nice hand wash today while it's dry.
Looks awesome. How do you like it so far? Raspy, droney? Where did you pick it up at ?
I love it! Took care of a slight exhaust leak I had right under driver door. Sounds awesome. Just a tad louder then stock. They say 5db louder at wide open throttle. I drive the kids around in it so I didnt want any drone or super loud exhaust. It's perfect and the wifey approves. 👍👍It has a nice sound on a cold start. I got it from Import Image Racing for about 900. Couldnt be anymore happy with it.
Earlier in the month, it was consistently above freezing so I jumped the gun and mounted my new summer wheels on my G37x Sedan. My OEM G35S wheels are now being delegated for autocross use only (though that might be a while)
Just purchased from someone local who sold off their G. They're VMR V710s with 245/45/18 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S with only 2500 miles on them. Got them for $1000!
I was going to move with buying Swift Springs and KYB GR-2s since I'm at 99000 miles but the current events have stopped that for now.

Reason: Rochester noted I said train instead of gun (been thinking too much about work training) :D
Boy that looks great for a car with almost 100k miles. Any mileage, for that matter. Nice!
Jumped the train? I don't think that's a thing, but I understand what you meant. Jumped the gun, perhaps.
I'm also itching to get my summer wheels & tires back on the car, but then I drive around and see they still haven't addressed all the winter potholes, and I hold off.
Thanks so much and yes! I edited that - been distracted by work-related training lately given I work a medical device company. You can imagine how crazy it is right now.
I thought about the winter potholes, too, but so many of them will never be fixed.
