The sound is nice when you push it and the chrome looks nice in the bay not much gains or I really can't feel it. The gains will come with the fi Set up when ever it's ready June July so tempted to bug Lance and check up on it but holding off. I didn't get the shield since the oem grill is angled I don't think the rain will be an issue. With the mesh grill that some have you may have to consider the shield.

Nice would love to do this. My aluminum trim is showing some wear and tear. Will this hold up in the Florida sun?

I did a GAB (lol) on my old car and i swear it lost top end power compared to just stock.

You possibly just lost power, but who really knows unless you were to have dynoed before and after i guess.

This^^^^^ Exactly what Lego Maniac said, only reason I would see adding to tubes that connect to silencers.First car I have ever had to have airbox silencers added and on top of that they're removable without tools. They have to keep it quiet and easy to maintain and cheaper to maintain. For the most part most factory vehicles minus exotics all have to meet multiple requirements and performance always gets put on the back burner to a degree compared to its potential, HFCs are perfect example.

I doubt I gained more than .5hp if anything, and it really sounds stock for the most part until you hit ~5750rpm to 8k then it sounds quite a bit more aggressive.

I used dashcommand to track air flow and 0-60 times and times didnt change and airflow increased a hair in upper rpms. I recommend anyway who a) has gotten a code in a past or b) likes to track and datalog their car's engine to check it out. Its awesome.

Finally installed my swift springs and cleaned her up. My initial impression is positive. I babied her for the most part. Comfortable yet firm and better than stock. I expect another 1/2" or so based on advertised drop.

Found a piece of metal in my back tire. Guess tomorrow it's off to see if anyone repairs tires anymore.

I think it should be fine honestly. I don't see why it would be any different than here up north.

I think it would look better if the tails were still OEM red. But maybe because the car is black, I actually think the insert makes an appealing first impression. However, that's first impression only, and it doesn't take long for that feeling to flip.

Meh. Not my car.
