Has a Porsche sound to it. Very V-6. Don't think I could live with it every day but would love a ride to hear it.

Honestly....you cannot truly capture the tone of GTHuas in any video. The majority of them the exhust sounds raspy and cheap imo. There are some vids out there that are good, but the true sound is something you have to hear for yourself. I'll be at Zdayz this year if your going?

Haha, are you in digital marketing? I use this trick all the time for boosting traffic on the websites I work with lol.

I wish I could take advantage of those ARC features, but with the 7AT, all Im going to get it rolling anti-lag (fake lol), Launch Control (also fake), and burnout mode... yay... i get to spin one tire with my open diff.. how exciting. But Im still going to go for it. Tuning this summer. Expecting 305 ish wheel, honestly will be happy with anything over 300. AWD has a lot more power loss. Going to tune as rwd.

haha I am not but hey, may have just found my niche!

Why do you call the other features fake for the 7at? Because your not FI? My brother had his 7at tuned the same day with ARC, granted his is the S and has the LSD so the burn out feature was great. He also loves the rolling anti lag, most of the features are adjustable to user which is great imo.

I call it fake because it just mimics actual launch control, and yeah 2step/anti lag are FI terms. Im still going to pay up and get ARC lol. It boosts the fun factor by 1000.
My goal is faster shift times, better throttle response, a bit of power is nice, valet mode, immobilizer mode, and then the fun ARC features are a bonus. Considering the cost, its worth the money,

It's been a little over a year and 12,000 miles since I replaced my rear PSS, and.....I think I'm going to need new rears soon. Dealer told me they are 4/32, and I increasingly notice rear wheel spin.

Not quite sure if that's good or bad

It's the price of grip

Michelin claims 15,000 for staggered fitment, and tire mileage claims are usually optimistic, so I'll probably end up getting 13 out of them, which isn't bad.

I was thinking about switching to the new Continential's, but the price difference is so small, I'm just going to stick with the PSS.

Per tire, sure. For a pair, maybe. For a full set... ouch.

Seeing as how you burn through a set every year, you could try them out for one cycle and see if it really matters. On paper, they spec nearly identical, and reviews are overwhelmingly positive.

I'll be honest, when I decided to switch to Conti, it was a struggle to make that choice. Funny how we decide what is and isn't important about things like this. I suspect there's emotional logic which equates spending less money with downgrading. But perhaps the reality is that spending more money doesn't necessarily equate to upgrading.

Boom.

From Tire Rack, shipped:

Continental: $881.30
Michelin: $1047.80

Difference of $166.50, or $13.87/month

I'm not committed either way yet. Find me the Continentals for $250+ less and that would probably tip me in that direction

They're both great tires, I just hesitate to fix something that works for me, and the PSS are fantastic.

Most in depth review I've found:

TESTED: Continental Tire ExtremeContact Sport

You amortized the diff as a monthly expense? Fair enough.

OK then, look at it this way... it pays for your Netflix membership.
