I was avoiding using my jacks on the pinch welds because I didn't want to damage the car. But good call on being safe. I followed your sage advice in a related thread and it works like a charm.

Nice looking out Lego! Too many horror stories involving dangerously lifted vehicles, and Murphy's Law rearing it's ugly head here and it could be horrific
Well i finally changed the 7AT trans fluid yesterday. Yeah i made a mess when dropping the pan,But it's worth the $$ I saved. I used victory's method with the weed sprayer and the Assenmacher ATF 180 adapter. worked great.
Nice choice there, what wheel/tire specs are you running? Also that black & yellow plate looks just right back there
Thanks thanks! I liked the look of the coupe wheels but I was finally able to sell my Cobra and decided to buy some wheels a little more to my liking. I'm thinking of changing my plates again tho haha, but would leave the black and yellow look.
The wheels are:
19x9 +30 up front
19x9.5 +39 in the rear.
The tires are the Sumitomo HTR Z III
245/40 in the front
275/35 in the rear.
I had gotten conflicting info about these wheels from 3 different tire shops but also lots of helpful info on here too. A local mom and pop shop ended up giving me a really great deal and since they weren't 100% sure even after contacting TSW that these would fit, told me that I wouldn't have to buy them if the fit was off. Luckily the fit was just right.
Once I get it washed I'll contribute to the wheels thread!
How many miles when you did yours? And which ATF did you use? So glad I did mine about 25k miles ago, still performing well
I was at 63,000 miles. I used the valvoline max life same as you did. I drove to socal and back,So i have about 1100 miles on it.
I Bought the ATF about 4 mo ago and finally got off my butt and did it.
Sae corrected should be around 304whp. This was before my lightweight stillen pulley, 3.69 gears and refinished catback. Next comes a tune. Dyno doesn't show it but shop temp was a smidge over 100 degrees that day.
Had the new Feal 441 coilovers installed yesterday as well as SPC front control arms and 5mm spacers all around. Rear control arms will be installed tomorrow. Its too low right now and im not a big fan of the "tucked" look so it will be raised up about a half an inch tomorrow as well. Havent had any time to push the car properly so Im going to do that today and ill report back. The short amount of time driving it home from the shop revealed a much higher level of composure over road imperfections when going straight or cornering. It soaks bumps up very nicely. Way more of a refined ride compared to the stock struts and shocks with the Swifts on there. Selling the Swifts as well if anyone is interested.
Nice work Jake, be sure to post up a review in the review section when you get some time on them, always great to have more options in coilovers for sure!
