But seriously... maybe some military officer with connections got transferred from Japan to Florida, and he brought his car.
Sure is an oddity, though, seeing an otherwise common car with RHD.
OT, but have you ever seen a right hand drive Cavalier? A Toyota Cavalier, that is
We get a lot of RHD cars up here because our import laws are 15 years old instead of 25 years old. I see all kinds of random RHD vehicles, including some older Rav4's and CRVs. Weirdest was the day I saw the RHD Cavalier though.
The Z24 package is much older than that. I considered one in 1986 before plunking my shekels on a Dodge Shelby Charger Turbo.
That's a flashback. I briefly had a 86 Z24 until it caught on fire and I returned it to the dealer and traded up to a 88 Beretta GT. The 2.8 V6 felt quick to a 16 year old
Getting the car here is the easy part. Just $3284 for a 2010 plus around $1500 or so for shipping via slow boat. Registering it here would be the tough part.

My 3rd car was actually a 1990 Beretta GTZ with the 2.3L Quad 4 engine (same engine as the Z24 I believe). I only had it for about a year before buying a 1990 Eclipse GSX which I owned for over a decade.
my dream car in high school no joke. i had the sedan but had the better 2.4L engine. while all the kids wanted civics and integras i wanted a z24 lol
My first car was a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero coupe, which shared the Z24 engine and Getrag transmission with a slightly nicer Oldsmobile interior. Didn't look as cool though.

IIRC the GTZ had a HO version of the Quad 4, which produced slightly more power 180, than the version in the Z24 150, and was available only with a 5MT. I always thought those cars looked sweet

In 2002 I drove ~150 miles to snag a Alero 5MT. Car sales were down in a post 9/11 world, I had a family member giving away GM points and there was a ton of incentive money on the hood. Unfortunately it sold minutes before I got there. Ended up with a Dodge Neon R/T instead
