You just need to lightly sand the blue, like a 3m scotchbrite pad, just enough so you get a good surface for adhesion And here's the Infiniti logo link, should be enough sizes to make it work and lots of colors to choose from, also hold up better if you put a couple coats of high temp clear over them VHT paint is a good choice for that.
For some reason the link is going to another site so cut & paste this and put an h in front of the ttp

DIY Cheapskate/Mod
I had a similar thing happen when I had mine painted. I had a bunch of rust that was wirebrushed, and the paint was more of a preservation thing than an aesthetic one. The paint that splashed on the rotor ended up damaging the pads a bit, nothing major, but after a few months of driving, the pads grooved the rotors up really badly and I was dealing with horrible squeaking noises. Ended up having to replace my front pads and rotors.

So after getting a great deal on this G37 ion November I went ahead and bought some coupe wheels for summer.
Threw them on this week and the car needed a detail BADLY.
Before to see how bad the paint was it was like this if not worse all over the car:
After:
Next time around I'm going to try using a more aggressive pad as some surface scratches still rermained but all in all im pretty happy with the outcome!

i used to have a black G25 and as much as i love black its nearly impossible to keep clean/scratch free (especially in the city) so good job on this one looks great!

Did a little spring cleaning today.
Why did Nissan put what is basically carpet in the rear wheel wells? That stuff holds a ton of dirt.
I scrubbed and power washed my wheel wells. You know because daily driver.
The main reason I was in there was to apply some ceramic paint protection to the calipers. I'll put a few more pics in my build thread and in a few months I'll give my review of the coating.

Wow! Great job on the detailing, guys. Really making me jealous... I won't have time for a proper Spring cleaning on my G until the second weekend in May.
