The only thing I can think of is because you want to oversteer on purpose, just for the fun of it.
Thats exactly it, for fun, wouldnt drive around like that, but in case of an emergency burnout, I have the option.

Redline did a boot for 4DRZ's STS iirc... wonder why they are fitting differently? Unless you gave them specific measurements? Maybe check with him before you re-order

They have the option of shortening the boot by however many inches over stock you advise. I don't think I would have throw it away as once you put the STS in, it could have worked

Changed my cabin air filter today. Looks like it's never been changed before. With the things that I've found in this car since I've bought it, I'm beginning to wonder what type of owners had it before me. Carfax shows two owners: first was 36K miles and roughly 3 years, second owner was 14K miles and only 8 months. Pretty interesting. So far I've found the following......pens with medical prescription type advertising, a mini mango flavored cigar which fell out from behind the glove box while changing filter (see photo), and the music box is full of R&B/Rap music. I guess as long as it's clean, maintenance was done, and it runs fine it shouldn't really matter.

Did you install the Brake Boost Momentary Switch (like in this https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...-burnouts.html ?) to be able to do burnouts or are you able to do them by just disengaging the awd (like in this https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...wd-switch.html )?

Nothing as intense as your first reference. It's just the Awd turn off switch. I'm not able to do crazy smoking burnouts, just allows me to spin the wheels a little bit on takeoff. Purely a dumb mod with no useful function lol.

Oh ok, thanks, I was thinking of doing permanent open/close version of the brake boost switch and thought there may be some overlap

What are you trying to say? Did you finally go gloss black instead of bronze on those late-model sport-coupe rims? Good. It suits the car so much better with the roof, front grille, window trim and tint.

Unless that's not what I'm seeing, in which case... um, nevermind.

Or are you complaining that we're going to get 12" of snow tomorrow?

With those back-up lenses in your hands, could you compare them to the backup lenses already on your car?

I ask, because there was a bit of a debate about this two years ago, and my lying eyes had me convinced the backup lenses had a different shade of red to them. As time has passed, I'm starting to wonder if it was all an illusion, with impressions affected by the amber in the JDM lens.
