If anything your design looks more like an actual Helmholtz resonator.

Got it. I see what you guys mean. As far as ordering my exhaust, I ordered it through an authorized dealer but it was still shipped from the producing factory in California, so hopefully mine is authentic

I just wonder if I am going to miss my ARK grip or just absolutely love the MD on Thursday.. We shall see

Edit: QUick question for both of you guys, running stock cats or upgraded?

I don’t question authenticy with your exhaust I actually like that design better lol cause the 370 platform uses them.

You will love your MD trust me. That’s why VQ37VHR13 bought his cause I took him for a ride, he was on the fence for the Ark lol.

He's right lol, especially when there were some pretty attractive prices for ARK during tax season, but when i heard the MD in person, i knew i had to have it.

The exhaust is actually really not that loud I have Helmholtz resonators off the headers and axle back. I was surprised. anything over 4K at Wot it screams like it should.

I get you guys. The ones on the ark is a combination of both squared and rounded lol

I'll post a video on Thursday of the startup and a few revs with the Z1. Did you guys just follow the directions with the paper that came with it and it was simple? The exhaust will be installed on a lift.

The CBE install is easy, it’s when you start doing headers where youre contemplating suicide na but there is a mention of jacking up the mid resonator to the frame and cranking down on the bolts to gain more clearance I have yet to do this.

Last ever cold start with my Ark Grip + Z1 HFC combo ... EVER Hopefully I am happy with the MD. Loved the ARK, especially paired with some sort of HFC. Can't talk about how low the cans sat as I wasn't lowered, so I rarely scraped. Overall though, great exhaust, loved it.
Getting the MD installed in an hour.

The smoke is also cause it was 58 degrees when I recorded this. Should have probably let it warm up a little longer but oh well

Why do people video "cold starts"?

Until the engine warms up, it invariably sounds like pooh.

I actually don't know. I just follow the videos online LOL that's how most are (except the ones that are fly by's and take offs).

I'm sure you'll like it man I'm curious to hear how it'll sound with the Z1 though. Don't forget about posting some vids for us.

Because that’s when exhausts are loudest (on startup)

But, it's also not a good indicator of what the exhaust will sound like when revving or under load to reveal rasp, etc.

Bad news boys. The owner (family run business ran by himself only) of the exhaust shop I go to stated he threw out his knee and couldn't install the exhaust today. So I rescheduled for Saturday. Sorry guys. No videos today I'm not really mad as I can enjoy the next day with my ARK.

Will HOPPPEEFULLY post videos on Saturday. Fingers crossed.
