I've noticed that with my setup now (resonator delete) that it's a little raspy when the exhaust is cold. What is that?

Main reason I ask is I have a similar setup and I am fighting some pretty considerable rasp. Maybe I just hear it more than others but it seems like quite a bit.

Injen SRI's, Kinetix HFC's, Megan Y-Pipe, and Tanabe Axleback's.
I don't think it is as bad as I have convinced myself it is because my friends last night said they might not have noticed had I not said anything.
But it definitely does exist. I am going to try to to get some resonators in the y-pipe weekend after next, and kind of try to recreate how Motorydyne has fixed the coupe and RWD's slight rasp.

It could be the variation of diameter in your piping. Try putting your stock y pipe back on first. You aren't going to notice a difference in power.

Its either different sizes at the cats or a different size at the y-pipe/Mid pipe connetion.
If it is pipe size the two different y-pipe (stock vs Megan) are producing almost the same exact noise.
The purchase of the Megan was basically only because I thought it might help, and it didn't.

I bought this exhaust last week and am going to modify it to fit my X sedan. It's all 304 stainless and is pretty decent quality. The entire system was cheaper than what I can buy the stainless tubing / mufflers for myself. More to come
Edit: Here is an actual pic of the exhaust. I made sure to not get the burnt tips and got the exhaust with the beveled tips:
