Future Mods
Hey guys. I currently have a 2010 G37xS sedan.
Looking to purchase the Extreme 3 low profile roof spoiler in the next couple of days.
I am also planning on purchasing a rear spoiler. I am debating whether to go with the oem rear spoiler or the stillen spoiler.
Any advice is appreciated.
Gabe

Your mod list is getting very impressive w/ quality parts throughout, nice work!
For fit I'd go w/ OEM, if you want a more unique look then the stillen, although it retains the chrome finisher so I'd have that paint matched at the same time.

I agree with blnewt...
My opinion, the OEM rear spoiler fits the G37xS the best and with the Extreme 3 roof spoiler, it should flow well together.
Gabe,
Once getting the Hotchkis sways installed, please let us know how they compare to the G37S rear sway swap...will be very interesting to know the difference.

Since your car is now 6-7 years old, with who knows how many miles, here's my suggestion:
https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...ts-p-5587.html
Pros:
In full disclosure, I've not done this yet with my 6MT, although it's most certainly on my list. I did install solid poly motor mount bushings in my last car, and it was the best mod I had ever done with that Maxima, hands down, for all the reasons listed above. I'm actually very excited to get this done someday soon. But first, I'm replacing my transmission mount.
Once installed, if you absolutely hate it, you swap your old mounts back in and sell the Z1 mounts here at a discount. All told, the cost for that experiment is relatively low. Particularly compared to the huge dollars you just spent on your exhaust.
Me? Really? That's pretty cool. You're very welcome... whatever I did.

Pros:
- It's a handling mod, because body roll is reduced when the engine is more connected to the frame.
- It's a power mod, because energy previously wasted tossing the engine around is now being transmitted through the drive-train.
- It's a transmission mod, because shifts will be smoother with less movement.
- It's a driving mod, because throttle response will be significantly improved.
- It's an ego mod, because the added NVH turns your sedan into a racecar.
- It's an economical mod, because at $200, plus relatively easy installation for a mechanic, the price is right.
- NVH that you can't turn off. However... you might actually like it.

Listing out all those reasons why it's a proper mod... I think I ended up convincing myself.

Solid bushings for any part of the car are WAY down my list of contemplated mods. And then only if I turn it into a track beast, which ain't happenin'. I have a Miata for that. Solid urethane motor and suspension bushings made my Sentra SE-R unliveable on the street as a daily driver.

This is how the FI 2.5" CBE with 18" resonators sound. I will try to record a better video soon.
