-41c are the kinds of temps you REQUIRE a battery blanket or warmer.
Not surprised at all that your battery was saying no. Not to mention it is 4 years old and average life of an automotive battery in newer cars is 4-6 years.
We replace loads of batteries when it gets cold but we never experience temps of -41.
