New ARK Exhaust for my G37

Hello! I'm new here and I am about to help put on an ARK exhaust on a 2009 g37 sedan. I would love to know some pointers before I tackle this if you guys could help me out!

Having a lift makes it easier and a buddy. Other than that, it's just removing bolts.

Don't do it........Just box it up and ship it to me for my G.

A lift would be ideal or just use 4 jack stands and go to it.

Good luck

Like already mentioned, some jack stands and a buddy. Other than that some good penetrator for those really rusted bolts. Also make sure to order or buy the 2 gaskets that go from the cats to the exhaust they don't give you from ark.

Is installing an exhaust a job for somebody who is known for working on the Nissan / Infiniti line ? or could it be installed fromm just any exhaust or muffler shop or even friends? I know installing HFCs are a PIA and should be maybe done at a shop. Just wondering if I should make an appointment at a Z / Infiniti Specialized shop which is a 2 month wait or just install it with friends / at a local shop that works on most cars.

It's pretty straightforward. I did mine with two jackstands and a jack. On a lift with air tools would be a breeze.

So guys I think I was shipped the wrong exhaust. It doesn't fit on the cats. I will upload pictures soon.

Well nevermind. We got it on and it sounds pretty nice. But there are some leaks that we will have to mend soon. It's not a perfect fit. But this will suffice!

Say more?

One thing I didn't see mentioned is to not tighten anything before the entire system is on and together. I like to mount the whole thing up very loosely, get it where I want, then start snugging everything down.
