Is this an Appearance Edition?

This is aggravating because so many listings include G37 Sport in the model but are in fact just base journeys. These are hard to find have to count on the dealer not making any mistakes when they list the actual G37S.
Ok so I am understanding this correct, for SEDANS there is no true AWD sport models? The only true sport models (the ones that come with upgraded brakes, suspension, steering gear and VLSD) are 6MT & RWD??

^ yes. to get the VLSD and other mechanical goodies that come with the G37S sedan, you need either a 6MT or an RWD Sport package (both called G37S). the all wheel drive xS only has the cosmetic sport items. and the G37x or G37 base do not have any of the Sport goodies.
the Akebono BBK is typically the giveaway if the car is a real S sedan. if the car you are looking at has them, almost guaranteed that it is a true S. i know a few guys have upgraded their non-S sedan to have the BBK, but these number in the very few.

The xS also has Sport Seats, which are a significant improvement over the non-sport. Also the xS has 18" Sport Wheels, but in a 7.5" square configuration. And the xS has flappy paddles, which are pretty much useless, IMO.
But yes... cosmetic only. Now you get it.
